This is only about bus idling and not the rest of Jarod's law rules. This precludes any changes to the rules. Dear Staff: I received an e-mail this morning from Pete Japikse, Pupil Transportation, Center for School Options and Finance, ODE. In the event any of you are asked, with the repeal of Jarod's Law rules, the issue of bus idling remains in effect. This was a rule change which occurred several years ago under ODE's authority to "establish transportation operating standards (4511.76). It predated any change or suggestion made by ODH or Jarod's Law rules.
